Version 2026-08-27.1 · Effective 27 August 2026
NOCTA is a professional workspace for nightlife. These guidelines apply to everything a user can create or upload: profiles and public DJ pages, images, audio, flyers, direct messages, booking threads and documents, support chat, notes, suggestions and feedback.
Treat other DJs, bookers, venue staff and administrators the way you would in a green room. Disagreements about a booking are normal; abuse is not.
Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking or repeated unwanted contact.
Hate speech or discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic.
Sexually explicit material, nudity, or content that sexualises minors in any way.
Graphic violence, self-harm promotion, or content glorifying serious harm.
Impersonating another DJ, venue, brand or NOCTA staff, or claiming credits, residencies or bookings that are not yours.
Spam, mass unsolicited messaging, scams, phishing, fake bookings or attempts to move users to off-platform schemes.
Uploading music, artwork, photography or video you do not have the rights to.
Publishing other people's personal data, private messages or contact details without a lawful reason.
Illegal content or content promoting illegal activity, including drug sales.
Attempts to bypass access controls, enumerate other users' private content, or abuse invitation, share or roster links.
Wherever you can see another user's content, there is a Report action. Choose a category — harassment, spam, impersonation, inappropriate content, copyright, privacy, or other — and add details if it helps.
You will get a neutral confirmation that the report was received. Reports are reviewed by NOCTA administrators. We do not disclose the outcome of individual decisions, and we never tell the reported user who reported them.
Do not use reports to attack someone you disagree with. Repeated bad-faith reporting is itself a breach of these guidelines.
You can block another user from their profile, their public page or a conversation. Blocking stops new direct messages and new direct contact in both directions, and stops notifications caused by that person.
Blocking does not delete existing conversation history, which stays visible to the people who were part of it, and it does not remove bookings, cancellations or contractual records. If you have an obligation towards someone you blocked, that obligation and the records around it remain visible to both of you and to administrators.
You can unblock at any time. Your block list is private.
Depending on what we find, we may hide or remove content, dismiss a report, warn a user, or restrict or suspend an account. Serious cases can lead to permanent removal from the platform.
Every moderation action is logged with the moderator, the time, the reason and the state before and after.
We aim to review reports promptly. Because NOCTA is a small beta team we do not promise a fixed response time. Anything involving an immediate safety risk should also be reported to hello@nocta.se so we see it faster.
If you believe a decision about your content or account was wrong, email hello@nocta.se from your account address and describe what happened. We will look at it again.
